They'll be no recoil. It's "part" of your Chakra now. Unless your Chakra doesn't like you, you have nothing to worry about.

Well it seems to have some of the Proctor's powers. You won't be using any Astral Voids. But I'm sure that the Justu(Astral Laser) and maybe Astral Stars will be able to be used through this gun.
